Safe Haven Animals Rescue Edmonton Society (S.H.A.R.E.S) is a non profit rescue organization, with many of our volunteers having years of experience in rescue and animal care and we have come together to provide a much needed service to Edmonton and surrounding area

We, at S.H.A.R.E.S. do not have a central facility, but are comprised of a network of foster families who take in the orphans and make them part of the family until a permanent new home can be found. Please be patient as we try to return all calls within the same day but it could be a couple of days due to our work schedules and family life. Everyone at at SHARES is a volunteer and we have no paid employees.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Edmonton Society relies solely on generous donations and adoption fees to care for our adoptable pets. We do not receive government grants or funding. Every dollar generated goes right back into the care of our adoptable pets.
WE CAN ALWAYS USE GOOD FOSTER HOMES, PLEASE IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE OUR ORPHANS, SEE BELOW
Do you want to have a pet in your life but cannot commit to the years of care or expense???........Why not consider fostering one of our great dogs or cats until a permanent home is found. We supply you with any supplies needed to foster and of course vet care for our adoptable pets. Remember the more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save at our local pounds.
Do you have some spare time but cannot foster, why not volunteer with SHARES.........
We need some great volunteers to help out at adoption days on the weekends, at fundraising events, transporting our adoptable pets to vet appointments, picking up donations made to SHARES and of course we can always use good foster homes for our adoptable dogs and cats.
